CLASSES WE OFFER
Our dance school offers a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities, including Ballroom and Latin, Ballet and Tap. Whether you're taking your very first steps or looking to develop your skills further, we have a class to suit you.
Our experienced and dedicated teachers are passionate about helping every dancer reach their full potential in a fun, friendly, and supportive environment. We believe that dancing should be as enjoyable as it is rewarding, with every class designed to build confidence, technique, and a love of dance.
Beyond our weekly classes, we offer a vibrant social calendar with practice evenings, parties hosted by ourselves and other local dance schools, and opportunities to take part in optional medal examinations and dance competitions for those who wish to challenge themselves and progress further.
CHILDREN'S CLASSES
We offer a fantastic range of dance classes for children from the age of 4 and up , with Ballroom and Latin classes suitable for complete beginners through to experienced competitive dancers. Our programme includes beginner and social classes, medal classes, and dedicated competition training, allowing every child to progress at their own pace.
Our performing arts programme also includes Ballet and Tap classes for children aged 3½ to 7 years, a boys-only Jazz and Tap class, and private lessons for those who would benefit from individual tuition. For older students, we offer Grade 3 Tap and Grade 4 Ballet classes, as well as a monthly Jazz workshop for ages 10 and above.
We're always looking to expand our timetable, and we're excited to be introducing Street Dance trial classes soon, giving even more children the opportunity to discover a style they'll love.
ADULT CLASSES
Our adult classes take place at our Chessington, West Ewell and Stoneleigh venues, with classes available for complete beginners, improvers and more experienced dancers. No partner is required to join our classes, as our teachers help to partner dancers wherever possible, and we are often supported by experienced class helpers to ensure everyone feels comfortable and included.
Our syllabus focuses primarily on Ballroom and Latin American dancing, while also incorporating popular styles such as Salsa, Latin Line Dance and Sequence Dance throughout the year, giving dancers the opportunity to broaden their skills and enjoy a varied programme.
In addition to our Ballroom and Latin classes, we also offer a weekly Adult Ballet & a weekly Adult Tap class, suitable for both beginner and intermediate dancers. Whether you're looking to learn a new hobby, improve your fitness, or simply enjoy dancing in a friendly and supportive atmosphere, we have a class for you.
WEDDING DANCES
Impress your wedding Guests with a choreographed 1st dance on your big day. We've helped newly weds with everything from a social shuffle, to full on flash mobs, involving the whole wedding party. Private lessons are flexible and cater to your individual dance needs.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons are for single dancers or couples who want to work on specific dances or steps at their own pace or competitors working on their own technique.
MEDAL TESTS
We offer UKA medal tests twice a year and also have connections with IDTA schools. Many of our medallists compete with us in competitions, where the students dance with their teachers. We do this locally and once a year we travel to Blackpool.
SOCIAL DANCES
Every 6 weeks we run a social dance evening for our dancers and other local dancers to come along and enjoy an evening of dance fun. We play Ballroom and Latin American music, some popular sequence and Latin line dances. Our teachers are in attendance to help partner
